Medical education in Warsaw has been ongoing for 216 years! To commemorate the day it began—November 15, 1809—the authorities and employees of our university lay flowers at the stone obelisk located on the Banacha Campus. Beneath the obelisk, a message was embedded with a solemn declaration about educating and teaching academic youth, as well as providing assistance to all the sick and needy, along with the motto of service "To People and the Homeland."

Science affects the lives of all of us, and the aim of the Science Festival in Warsaw is to promote it - among young and old alike. Over 125 institutions took part in the 29th edition of the festival, held between September 19 and 28. The festival was also supported by employees of the Faculty of Health Sciences and the Faculty of Pharmacy at our university. Their classes were interesting and had a very practical nature.
