Farewell to Employees Going into Retirement

Sixteen individuals participated in the farewell ceremony for employees who are moving into retirement, which took place on December 10. Some of them had worked at WUM for more than 40 years. “With all my heart, I would like to wish you health, joy, and time that you can devote to everything you’d been putting off «until later». May you enjoy the time with your family, pursuing your passions, going for walks, traveling, and a bit of doing-nothing,” the Rector, Professor Rafał Krenke, told the retirees.

On behalf of the University, the Rector expressed his thanks to the retiring employees for their patience, professionalism, their ability to handle challenges, educating generations of students, and organizational support. He also reminded them that they would forever remain part of our university community.

Words of thanks and best wishes were also expressed by Professor Dorota Olczak-Kowalczyk, Vice Rector for Human Resources and Operations, and representatives of dean authorities: Professor Renata Główczyńska from the Faculty of Medicine; Piotr Regulski, PhD Hab., from the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry; Piotr Luliński, PhD Hab., from the Faculty of Pharmacy, as well as administrative officials: Marta Kijak-Bloch, PhD, Jarosław Prugar, and Jolanta Ilków. Other participants in the ceremony included heads of the retiring employees’ clinical departments, departments, and units.
