PKA's positive program evaluation for the Medical Program

On May 26th this year, the Presidium of the Polish Accreditation Committee (PKA) issued a positive program evaluation for the uniform master's studies with the general academic profile of the Medical Program of the Medical University of Warsaw. It will be in effect for the next 6 years.

The evaluation, which was expressed in Resolution No. 364/2021 of the Presidium of PKA of 20 May this year, was issued after reviewing the opinion of the medical and health sciences team, the evaluation team's report and the University's position on the program evaluation of the Medical Program.

The justification states, among other things, that the educational process at the Medical University of Warsaw enables the students of the Medical Program to achieve the assumed learning outcomes for uniform master's studies with the general academic profile.

All the criteria specified in the Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of 12th September 2018 on the criteria for program evaluation have been fully met. The next program evaluation is expected to occur in the 2026/2027 academic year.

Obtaining a positive assessment by PKA was possible thanks to the involvement in the teaching process and preparation for accreditation of the entire academic community: teachers, students and administration staff.
