EUniWell – the European University for Well-Being – is one of over 60 European University Alliances, selected for funding by the European Commission under the ERASMUS+ programme in 2020. EUniWell is formed by 12 universities, including WUM.
The alliance's main goal is to improve the well-being and quality of life of European citizens through joint academic initiatives, education and knowledge development, scientific research, and social partnerships.
The EUniWell Universities
The alliance consists of 12 European universities. Through this partnership, they are building an environment that promotes access to high-quality education, social responsibility, health, inclusion, and diversity.
Fields of Action
Actions within the EUniWell alliance focus on five key thematic arenas related to well-being.
How to join?
For our university’s faculty, students, and doctoral students, participation in the alliance opens up new opportunities to engage in an international environment.
Activities may include, among others:
- grants and project funding
- access to open educational resources
- international mobility programs
The Seed Funding Programme
The program supports collaborative, grassroots projects initiated by researchers, students, faculty members, and administrative staff at universities participating in EUniWell.
The program offers the opportunity to receive funding of up to 25,000 EUR for projects aimed at improving well-being in five thematic areas.
Applications for the program are open twice a year. Each research team applying for funding should consist of representatives from at least four universities of the alliance.
EUniWell Courses and Trainging Catalogue
The EUniWell Courses and Training Catalogue is a shared educational platform. It offers interdisciplinary courses and training opportunities focused on individual, social, and environmental well-being.

From October 22 to 24 this year, the University of Cologne hosted ceremonies, conferences, and workshops marking the fifth anniversary of the EUniWell European University Alliance. The Medical University of Warsaw joined the alliance this year as one of its twelve member institutions.
Students and employees of the Medical University of Warsaw can compete for funding of up to €25,000 for an international project! Applications are now being accepted for the EUniWell Seed Funding Call - a competition for funding projects carried out in cooperation with at least four universities from the EUniWell consortium – European University for Well-Being. Our university is a member of this consortium.
The agreement signed by the European Alliance of Universities for Well-being - EUniWell and our university paves the way for future joint initiatives and eventual full membership in the EUniWell University Alliance.
