Prof. Monika Gawałko was appointed for the 2026-2028 term to the Board of the European Society of Cardiology as a communication coordinator for the e-Cardiology Working Group and to the Young Electrophysiologists Committee of the EHRA (European Heart Rhythm Association).
The ESC e-Cardiology Working Group consists of experts representing various fields who are developing the use of digital technologies in cardiology. It also promotes research and education in digital health.
EHRA Young Electrophysiologists, on the other hand, is an international community of people under 40. It aims to support the professional development of young electrophysiologists, promote their scientific activities and develop space for international cooperation and exchange of experience.
