A MUW diploma is a guarantee of good employment. The results of the Perspektywy 2022 Ranking of Higher Education Institutions were published

In the 23rd edition of the ranking prepared by the "Perspektywy" Educational Foundation, MUW is the second university with the highest indicator reflecting the position of graduates on the labor market. It is worth noting that we are the only medical school in the top ten of the ranking prepared on the basis of the "Graduates on the labor market" criterion (another medical school is the Karol Marcinkowski Medical University in Poznan, which, however, is ranked only 15th). Thus, we "beat" as many as 48 universities. The first place was taken by the Warsaw School of Economics.

The "Graduates on the labor market" is one of the seven criteria of the Ranking of Academic Universities. It is established on the basis of a nationwide study of the economic fate of graduates conducted by the Ministry of Education and Science using data from the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS). The survey results are from 2015-2019. The index considers two parameters: graduate earnings relative to earnings in the county of residence and graduate employability - measured by the risk of unemployment relative to the unemployment rate in the county of residence. It also introduces an adjustment to the percentage of graduates covered by the ELA system (i.e., registered with Social Insurance Institution). The data takes into account the situation in the first year after graduation. Second place for our university is a confirmation of the quality of education provided at MUW and the importance of the diploma on the labor market.

Taking into account all the criteria of the Ranking of Academic Universities: Prestige, Graduates on the labor market, Scientific potential, Innovation, Scientific effectiveness, Education conditions and Internationalization, MUW ranked 12th among 96 universities (both public and non-public).

Our university can also boast high positions in the Ranking of Study Fields. This year's edition features 73 fields and groups of study, selected for those most popular among university applicants. Six of our educational offerings were on the podium of their respective lists. These are:

  • medical analytics - 2nd place (out of 11 universities)
  • public health – 2nd place  (out of 12 universities)
  • pharmacy – 3rd place  (out of 11 universities)
  • medicine - 3rd place (out of 12 universities, ex aequo with the Medical University of Lodz)
  • nursing – 3rd place (out of 22 universities)
  • dietetics - 3rd place (out of 19 universities, ex aequo with the Medical University of Lodz and Medical University of Poznan)
  • The ranking position is the result of 12-13 indicators grouped into six criteria: prestige, graduates on the job market, academic potential, teaching potential, scientific potential, internationalization and additional criteria.

The Perspektywy 2022 Ranking of Higher Education Institutions consists of four lists. These are:

  • Ranking of Academic Universities - including 96 public and non-public higher education institutions (except for artistic universities) which are authorized to confer the academic degree of doctor;
