Prof. Grażyna Sygitowicz and Prof. Olga Ciepiela from the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Dr Sławomir Białek from the Department of Biochemistry and Pharmacogenomics were elected as members of the main board of the Polish Society of Laboratory Diagnostics (PSLD) for the 2026-2030 term. Additionally, Prof. Olga Ciepiela will be the vice president of the Society.
The new members of the Board were elected during the 21st Congress of the Polish Society of Laboratory Diagnostics, which is held from 16 to 19 September in Białystok.
WUM experts as speakers
The program of this year's PSLD congress included plenary sessions, thematic scientific sessions and poster sessions, as well as specialized workshops. The lecturers included representatives of our Faculty of Pharmacy: Dr Sławomir Białek, Prof. Grażyna Sygitowicz, Prof. Olga Ciepiela and Dr Paweł Kozłowski from the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Dr Paweł Kunicki from the Department of Drug Chemistry, Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis.
