WUM researchers included in the World’s Top 2% Scientists list

This year’s edition of the World’s Top 2% Scientists ranking of the most-cited researchers, compiled by Stanford University in collaboration with Elsevier, includes 31 researchers affiliated with the Medical University of Warsaw.

We are proud to note that this year’s list includes seven more researchers than last year and eleven more than two years ago! This confirms the growing significance of research conducted at WUM and the increasing impact of our researchers on global science.

The ranking consists of two parts: the first covers researchers’ scientific output over the course of their careers, while the second focuses on citation metrics for 2025.
