The certificate of recognition awarded to our university for being included in the prestigious THE World University Rankings 2026 was collected by Jacek Sieńko, PhD Hab., Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, during the 2025 LUMEN Gala.
With 32.1–35.4% points awarded, WUM ranked 1001–1200 among the nearly 2200 best universities across the world. Its best results this year came in the categories of “research quality” (52.2%) and “industry” (48.8%). More information on our position in this year’s ranking is available here
The Gala during which the certificates of recognition were awarded was part of the 11th LUMEN Conference of Leaders in University Management, an event focused on the most important challenges faced by science and higher education in Poland. Apart from WUM, recognition certificates were also awarded to other Polish universities included in this year’s ranking.
