Winners of the Rector's scholarship for young scientists

As part of the next call for applications for a scholarship of His Magnificence the Rector of the Medical University of Warsaw for young scientists, a total of 15 employees received the awards. The scholarships were awarded for achievements and involvement in scientific activities, both for publications and projects.

The awardees represent various fields of medicine, pharmacy and health sciences. They include:

Medical sciences

About the competition

In the current edition of the competition for MUW scholarships, 50 applications were received from employees of our university. The representatives of medical sciences (33 people) predominated among the applicants. Ten people were representatives of pharmaceutical sciences, and seven – of health sciences. 
The next edition of recruitment will take place next year in November. Employees of the MUW meeting the following criteria may apply for the scholarship:

  • conducting scientific activity and being counted as number N at MUW
  • being at least part-time employed at MUW 
  • not holding a doctoral degree or holding a doctoral degree for less than 7 years
  • being under 35 years of age
  • not holding a postdoctoral degree of professor title.
