The visit of the guests from the European Commission. They assessed how we are implementing HRS4R

In 2016, our university received the distinction of HR Excellence in Research. Such a prestigious title obliges. It is awarded by the European Commission to those institutions that implement The Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R) i.e. the Strategy for enhancing the attractiveness of working conditions and career development of researchers. How this strategy is implemented at MUW was checked by representatives of the European institutions.

Institutions that have been awarded the HR Excellence in Research title are subject to regular evaluation by experts appointed by the EC. Such an inspection visit took place at MUW on September 19. Representatives of EU institutions evaluated the activities of our university. We are still waiting for their report.

It is worth recalling that the implementation of the HRS4R Strategy obliges the university to comply with the principles and guidelines of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers.
In practice, this means that scientific units commit to providing favorable working conditions, career development, mobility and transparent recruitment processes for researchers. In this way, they enhance not only their own competitiveness but that of the entire European Research Area (ERA). It also raises the attractiveness of the EU science system globally.
