Students integration camp in Chłapowo

The event was attended by all willing first-year students. Various workshops, trainings, courses and integration games were prepared for them. There was also an official part, i.e. meetings of new students with vice rectors and deans, who came to Chłapowo for a day.

The camp, which took place in the first week of September, was organized by the MUW Student Government. There was no shortage of attractions. Dietary, dental, surgical suturing and intravenous insertions workshops were just part of the program. New students were also able to take part in training sessions on internships abroad, college publishing, and university emergencies. Dance, acrobatics, yoga or fitness classes were a great opportunity for integration. Those willing could play board games or take part in team-building games.

This year's camp was already the eighteenth. Therefore, on September 6, students celebrated the eighteenth edition of the camp in Chłapowo. Representatives of the university authorities came to celebrate this symbolic birthday: Prof. Zbigniew Gaciong, Rector; Prof. Agnieszka Cudnoch-Jędrzejewska, Vice Rector for personnel and organizational affairs; Prof. Marek Kuch, Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Education; Prof. Dorota Olczak-Kowalczyk, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry; Piotr Luliński, PharmD, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy; Łukasz Czyżewski, MD, PhD, Vice Dean for Nursing of the Faculty of Health Sciences; Jacek Sieńko, MD, PhD, Vice Dean for English Division of the Faculty of Medicine.

The arrival of the university authorities began the more official part. Students listened to speeches by Prof. Zbigniew Gaciong and Prof. Marek Kuch. After that, meetings with deans and vice-deans continued for a long time.
