Student Camp – Chłapowo 2026

Since the beginning of September, this year's edition of the integration camp for newly admitted students at WUM has been taking place in Chłapowo. The camp is traditionally organized by the Student Government, and representatives of university authorities and faculties also come for one day.

Fun and integration

In addition to making new friends and having a great time, a trip to Chłapowo is a good opportunity to participate in numerous workshops, self-defense classes, salsa, Zumba and many others. Water sports enthusiasts can usually take part in kite- and windsurfing courses. Moreover, numerous medical workshops, sports activities, thematic events, integration games or prize competitions are also organized.

Informal meetings

Every year, the camp is visited by representatives of university authorities and faculties, who, together with the students, take part in sports games and activities, meet them in smaller groups to talk about the university and their scientific fields, and answer numerous questions. Such informal meetings help new members of our community get to know the Rector, Vice Rectors and Deans, encourage conversations, introduce them to the specifics of academic life. 

This year, the camp in Chłapowo was visited by: Prof. Rafał Krenke, the Rector; Prof. Marek Kuch, the Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Education, Prof. Agnieszka Cudnoch-Jędrzejewska, the Vice Rector for Clinical Affairs and Investment and Prof. Michał Grąt, the Vice Rector for International Relations, Promotion and Development. The authorities of the Faculty of Medicine were represented by: Prof. Paweł Włodarski, the Dean; Prof. Renata Główczyńska, the Vice Dean for Student Affairs of the first and second year; Prof. Aleksandra Banaszkiewicz, the Vice Dean for Student Affairs of the third and fourth year; Prof. Tadeusz Grochowiecki, the Vice Dean for Student Affairs of the fifth and sixth year; Dr Jacek Sieńko, the Vice Dean for Student Affairs of the English Division. The Faculty of Dental Medicine was represented by Prof. Agnieszka Mielczarek, the Dean, and Dr Piotr Regulski, the Vice Dean for International Relations, Dental Medicine in English and Electroradiology. The Faculty of Pharmacy was represented by Dr Agnieszka Bazylko, the Vice Dean for Education in Pharmacy, and the Faculty of Health Sciences was represented by Dr Łukasz Czyżewski, WUM Professor, the Vice Dean for Nursing.
