Run for New Life supports organ transplantation

The 29th Run for New Life has concluded. This initiative supports organ transplantation in Poland and promotes the idea of informed decisions about organ donation. Relay teams were composed of transplant recipients, young people, journalists, athletes, actors, and representatives of transplant medicine, including specialists from our university.

The event took place on April 25 in Wisła. For the past 15 years, it has been the largest event in Poland promoting organ donation and transplantation. This time, 90 four-person relay teams lined up at the start. Each participant completed their section of the route using Nordic walking poles. The team with the best time was declared the winner. However, the main goal was not competition, but rather the promotion of health, increased awareness of transplant procedures, and fostering positive attitudes toward organ donation.
