On 7 January 2026 the President of the Republic of Poland handed professorial nominations. The group of academic teachers and employees of science and art who received nominations from Karol Nawrocki on that day included: Prof. Joanna Brydak-Godowska, Prof. Anna Klimkiewicz, Prof. Paweł Łęgosz, Prof. Małgorzata Mizerska-Wasiak, Prof. Anna Staniszewska, and Prof. Aleksandra Wesołowska.
Our professors received nomination acts:
- Prof. Joanna Brydak-Godowska from the Chair and Department of Ophthalmology received the title of the professor of medical sciences and health sciences in the discipline of medical sciences on July 23, 2025.
- Prof. Anna Klimkiewicz from the Chair and Department of Psychiatry received the title of the professor of medical sciences and health sciences in the discipline of medical sciences on July 21, 2025.
- Prof. Paweł Łęgosz, the Head of the Chair and Department of Orthopedics and Locomotor Traumatology, received the title of the professor of medical sciences and health sciences in the discipline of medical sciences on July 21, 2025.
- Prof. Małgorzata Mizerska-Wasiak, the Head of the Chair and Department of Pediatrics and Nephrology, received the title of the professor of medical sciences and health sciences in the discipline of medical sciences on July 23, 2025.
- Prof. Anna Staniszewska from the Chair and Department of Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology received the title of the professor of medical sciences and health sciences in the discipline of health sciences on July 23, 2025.
- Prof. Aleksandra Wesołowska from the Department of Medical Biology, the Head of the Laboratory of Breastmilk and Lactation Research, received the title of the professor of medical sciences and health sciences in the discipline of health sciences on July 21, 2025.
The ceremony was held in the Presidential Palace. The nomination acts were received by 112 people.
