Our new professors

Five outstanding scientists from the Medical University of Warsaw were awarded the title of professor.

This unique distinction is proof of their long-standing commitment to the development of science, teaching, and clinical practice. The following scientists have joined the ranks of professors:

  • Prof. Anna Klimkiewicz, MD, PhD, from the Chair and Department of Psychiatry
  • Prof. Paweł Łęgosz, MD, PhD, Head of the Chair and Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology of the Locomotor System
  • Prof. Izabela Strużycka, MD, PhD, from the Department of Comprehensive Dentistry
  • Prof. Aleksandra Wesołowska, MD, PhD, from the Department of Medical Biology, Head of the Laboratory of Human Milk and Lactation Research
  • Prof. Małgorzata Mizerska-Wasiak, MD, PhD, Head of the Chair and Department of Pediatrics and Nephrology

During the Senate meeting (September 29 this year), Prof. Marcin Sobczak, Vice Rector for Science and Technology Transfer, presented congratulatory letters to the new professors.
