Our expert on the Minister of Health's Task Force on Robotic Surgery

Assoc. Prof. Jacek Sieńko, the Vice Dean for Student Affairs of the English Division WUM and the Rector's Representative for University Digitalization, became a member of the Task Force for Robotic Surgery. The Board was appointed by order of the Minister of Health as of 20 May 2026.

The task of the team will include monitoring the development of robotic surgery in Poland and preparing recommendations for the effectiveness of performing such procedures. The experts will assess the demand for new robotic systems. They will also develop and update technical solutions for collecting data on robotic procedures.

The team consists of clinical specialists and representatives of the Ministry of Health, the National Health Fund, the e-Health Center and the Center for Quality Assessment in Healthcare. The first meeting is to be convened within 30 days of the order establishing the team taking effect, i.e., no later than in June this year.
