The current issue is dominated by topics related to the Inauguration of the Academic Year 2022/2023. We have a presentation of the university and departmental authorities. We learn about the composition of the Senate and the Council of Academic Disciplines. We also get a solid history lesson, i.e. the inaugural lecture entitled "Teaching Medicine in Warsaw - Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow" delivered by Prof. Dr. h. c. multi Marek Krawczyk.
In addition to the "historical" topics, we recommend a conversation between Prof. Dagmara Mirowska-Guzel and Monika Kresa, MD, PhD, from the Faculty of Polish Studies at the UW. We will learn from it whether starting e-mails with "Good morning" is correct and why a short "Greetings" at the end of a message can be considered rude.
