Many citizens and refugees from Ukraine and their families found shelter in the WUM dormitories during the first weeks of the war. There were several dozen people in total, coming not only from Ukraine, but also from Nigeria, Ecuador or Tunisia, among others.
Currently the WUM dormitories offer guest rooms.

To meet the needs of Ukrainian refugees, our University made available a two-room apartment belonging to WUM at 69 Grójecka St. The flat was renovated thanks to sponsors. Thanks to the immediate response of our community it was fully equipped and at the end of April it was ready to welcome a family from Ukraine.
