Five doctors associated with our University received from the hands of the Mazovia Province Governor - Konstanty Radziwill acts of appointment for the position of regional medical consultants. The handing over ceremony was held on May 19. In total, the governor announced five new consultants and handed out nine acts extending the term of office.
The act of appointment to perform the function of medical consultant was received by:
- Prof. Beata Pyrżak, Head of the Department of Pediatrics and Endocrinology UCC MUW - for the position of regional consultant in pediatric endocrinology and diabetology,
- Prof. Piotr Szopiński from the 1st Chair and Department of General and Vascular Surgery of the Medical University of Warsaw - for the position of regional consultant in vascular surgery.
The act of appointment for another term to serve as medical consultant was received by:
- Dr. Maciej Nowak from the Department of Periodontology and Oral Medicine of the Medical University of Warsaw - regional consultant in periodontology,
- Dr hab. Jacek Lewandowski, acting Head of the Chair and Department of Internal Medicine, Hypertension and Vascular Diseases UCC MUW - regional consultant in hypertension,
- Prof. Józef Knap, professor emeritus of the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics of the Medical University of Warsaw - regional consultant in maritime and tropical medicine.
- I wish you that the work of the consultant will be fruitful in terms of organizational efforts for a better health system in various areas. To those of you who are completing your mission, thank you very much for your efforts and availability in both better and worse moments. And to those who have received and accepted the nomination, I thank you very much and hope for good cooperation - said Konstanty Radziwill, handing over the nominations.
