According to the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation, every year in pediatric ophthalmology wards several thousand patients are hospitalized, not only with deterioration of vision, but also with glaucoma, cataracts, injuries and tumors. Many of these conditions require surgery. Therefore, it is important to equip ophthalmology wards with state-of-the-art equipment of the highest quality.
We encourage you to support the Orchestra by participating in auctions organized as part of the "MUW community for WOŚP" campaign. The auction includes, among others, bowling with the Rectors of the MUW, a model of a pacemaker from Prof. Marcin Grabowski, a swimming lesson with Paweł Korzeniewski, an outfit from the Opening of the Paralympic Games in Tokyo from Andrzej Ochal, and an open pass to enter the Olympic swimming pool at the Sports and Rehabilitation Center.
