The awards for outstanding scientific works were granted

Twelve MUW students were awarded rector's prizes for preparing or participating in the preparation of outstanding scientific works. Today, during a meeting of the University Senate, ten of them received congratulatory diplomas from the hands of the Rector - Prof. Zbigniew Gaciong.

The third degree team award went to:
- Marcin Cackowski, Marcin Zbytniewski and Grzegorz Gryszko for the work entitled “The influence of the number of lymph nodes removed on the accuracy of a newly proposed N descriptor classification in patients with surgically-treated lung cancer” 
- Michał Zawistowski and Joanna Nowaczyk for the work entitled “Outcomes of ex vivo liver resection and autotransplantation: A systematic review and meta-analysis”
- Joanna Nowaczyk and Karolina Makowska for the work entitled “Cyclosporine With and Without Systemic Corticosteroids in Treatment of Alopecia Areata: A Systematic Review”
The first degree individual award went to Tomasz Grzywa for a series of works concerning experimental oncology and to Anna Mazurek for a series of works concerning modern pharmaceutical methods.

The second degree individual award was granted to: Julian Chrzanowski for the work entitled “Glycyrrhizin: An old weapon against a novel coronavirus,” Krzysztof Domka for the work entitled “cROSsing the Line: Between Beneficial and Harmful Effects of Reactive Oxygen Species in B-Cell Malignancies,” Izabela Wasiak for the work entitled "Physical Activity Patterns among 9000 Pregnant Women in Poland: A Cross-Sectional Study" and Andriy Zhylko for the work entitled “The Great War of Today: Modifications of CAR-T Cells to Effectively Combat Malignancies.”
