MUW was invited to participate in the prestigious VBHC Dragon's Grant & Endorsement project

Medical University of Warsaw as one of the two Polish universities (alongside Warsaw School of Economics), was offered a partnership in Value Based Healthcare Dragon's Grant & Endorsement international project. His Magnificence Rector Prof. Zbigniew Gaciong was invited to the esteemed jury of the Polish edition.

The aim of the project is to build the awareness of a health care system concept based on values and innovative solutions which are aimed at increasing the efficiency of the system. This initiative promotes practical quality-based solutions that are implemented in the health care institutions around the world.
The winning projects must: ensure the highest quality of patient care, focus on patients and their personalized treatment process in accordance with the latest medical guidelines, be cost-effective, introduce innovations (organizational, medical or diagnostics), be able to be implemented throughout the entire care cycle. The Value Based Healthcare Dragon's Grant & Endorsement awards are given in the following categories: main prize, for patient treatment results, for cost-effectiveness and for the best cooperation.
The Rector, Professor Zbigniew Gaciong, was invited to join the jury of the Polish edition. The determined winners will take part in the international stage of VBHC Dragon's Grant & Endorsement and will compete with the best projects from around the world. The results will be announced in May 2021 in the Netherlands.
The invitation to participate in the project for the Medical University of Warsaw, also on behalf of the Decision Institute / VBHC Center Europe, was issued by the President of the Polish Coalition of Personalized Medicine Association - Beata Jagielska, MD, PhD, and the President of the Board in the Institute of Innovation and Responsible Development INNOWO Agnieszka Sznyk, PhD.
