Among the honored ones who received the statuettes were researchers from the Medical University of Warsaw.
By the decision of the Award Chapter consisting of a group of outstanding experts, who shape the health care system in Poland, the awards for 2019 scientific debuts in medicine were given to:
Jarosław Biliński, MD, PhD, form the Department of Hematology, Oncology and Internal Medicine, UCC MUW
Halszka Kamińska, MD, PhD, from the Pediatric Cardiology and General Pediatrics Clinic, UCC MUW
Dominika Klimczak-Tomaniak, MD, PhD, – from the Department and Clinic of Cardiology, Hypertension, and Internal Medicine MUW/ the Department of Immunology, Transplantology and Internal Diseases, UCC MUW.
The Golden Otis Trust Award has been granted since 2004 to outstanding doctors, pharmacists, journalists and patient organizations as well as pharmaceutical companies. As the creators of the initiative add - it is "a reward with a mission to recognize and support those areas of health care that have been overlooked by the decision makers". The "Złoty OTIS" Trust Award Plebiscite is organized by the Złoty Otis Trust Award Institute in cooperation with the following magazines: "Manager Apteki" and "Świat Lekarza" as well as the portals nazdrowie.pl, zlotyotis.pl, swiatlekarza.pl and medycynawpolsce.pl.
