NCRD will finance a consortium project of which MUW is a member

The application submitted in the GOSPOSTRATEG II competition by the consortium of Medical Center of Postgraduate Education (leader), Medical University of Warsaw, SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Kozminski University will receive funding from the National Center for Research and Development in the amount of PLN 14 452 346.25.The amount granted to our University is PLN 3 211 375,00

The financial resources will be used for the implementation of the project entitled "Refusal to vaccinate as a challenge to the state health policy, social trust, public health as well as family and social policy". The highly appreciated initiative is a response to the phenomenon of the increasing number of refusals to carry out preventive vaccinations. Researchers will also face an extremely topical issue - the problem of medical fake news. On the part of the MUW, the project is being implemented by Filip Raciborski, MD, PhD, and Mariusz Gujski, MD, PhD, from the Department of the Prevention of Environmental Hazard and Allergology. The planned starting date of the project is March 1, 2021, and its finish date is February 28, 2024.
The GOSPOSTRATEG is a competition addressed to the scientific entities and consortia. It is implemented as part of the Strategic Research and Development Work Programme "Social and economic development of Poland in the conditions of globalizing markets.” In the competition it was possible to apply for a grant of up to PLN 15 million.
