French Government Scholarship for a PhD student of MUW

Anna Helena Mazurek - a 6th year pharmacy student of the Faculty of Pharmacy, MUW, and also a PhD student of the Doctoral School of MUW, received the French Government Scholarship in the amount of EUR 13 420 for the realization of a combined doctoral degree (International Dual Degree PhD, doctorate en cotutelle) on the PhD thesis: "Analysis of the selected endocrine disrupting chemicals and their binding to the estrogen receptor with the application of QM and MM calculations."

The project will be supervised by: Łukasz Szeleszczuk assistant professor from the Department of Physical Chemistry of the MUW, and professor Thomas Simonson from the Laboratoire de Biochimie, École Polytechnique, France.

The project is part of the cooperation between the Pharmaceutical Sciences, MUW, and École Polytechnique.
The scholarships are addressed to the students who would like to obtain a PhD degree simultaneously in France and Poland. The Polish-French Recruitment Committee is composed of the representatives from the French Embassy, Ministry of Science and Higher Education, Polish universities and the National Academic Exchange Agency (NAWA).
