On September 26, 2020 during the Congress of the Polish Society of Vascular Surgery the new authorities of this organization were elected. Professor Zbigniew Gałązka - Head of the Clinic of General, Endocrinological and Vascular Surgery of the MUW UCC became the President-elect of the PSVS. Prof. Tomasz Jakimowicz from the Department of General Vascular and Transplantation Surgery of the MUW UCC took over the function of the Secretary-General.
The Polish Society of Vascular Surgery is an organization aimed at promoting the development of the vascular surgery and spreading the knowledge related to this field. The organization brings vascular surgeons together and takes the initiatives with their background in mind. It is also engaged in activities to integrate its members and exchange experiences.
