Letter from the Chancellor concerning vaccines for students, doctoral students and employees

In accordance with the decision of his Magnificence Rector of the Medical University of Warsaw, Prof. Mirosław Wielgoś and the recommendations of the University Emergency Response Team on  coronavirus threat regarding vaccination against influenza, I would like to inform you that the University has purchased the first batch of 2,000 vaccines for students, doctoral students and employees who have not vaccinated this season.

Vaccinations will be carried out completely free of charge at the Medical Center at ul. Nielubowicza 5, room 215 from 11.00-18.00.

Persons (students, doctoral students, employees) interested in vaccination are invited to submit an e-mail application by March 15, to the following address: zgloszenia@wum.edu.pl

The application should contain:

  • for students / doctoral students: name, surname, year and field of study, e-mail address, contact phone number
  • for employees: name, surname, position and organizational unit, contact phone number.

The condition for getting the vaccination is the delivery of a certificate, that there is no contraindication for vaccination against influenza issued by a GP.

PLEASE NOTE: A certificate confirming the absence of contraindications for this vaccination may be issued by a physician authorized to practice the profession (not necessarily a GP). Doctors can also issue such certificates for themselves.
