Five academics from the Medical University of Warsaw received appointment letters from the Mazovian Voivode, Mr. Konstanty Radziwiłł to voivodship medical consultant.
This is the second appointment for another five-year term for:
- Krystyna Szymańska, PhD, from the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry MUW’s UCC as a regional consultant in the field of pediatric neurology
- Dr. Maria Radziwoń-Zaleska from the Department of Psychiatry as a regional consultant in the field of psychiatry
- Prof. Irenusz Nawrot from the Department of General, Vascular and Transplant Surgery as a regional consultant in the field of angiology
and a first appointed for:
- Dr. Aneta Nitsch-Osuch, Head of the Department of Social Medicine and Public Health as a regional consultant in the field of epidemiology
- M.A. Pharm. Sylwia Lewandowska-Pachecka from the Department of Biochemistry and Pharmacogenomics as a regional consultant in the field of pharmacy
Amongst their other duties, voivodeship medical consultants carry out inspections of medical entities with regard to the quality of services and supervise the substantive side of professional development and specialisation training. Voivodeship medical consultants also prepare recommendations regarding finance and personnel resources in their field of specialisation.
