A visit from the Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education in Kiev

On December 13, a delegation from the Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education in Kiev visited Medical University of Warsaw to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation and Academic Exchange. The agreement entails the exchange of lecturers, scientists, students, doctoral students as well as, postgraduate training of residents and doctoral students. Both universities will also be able to benefit from the framework of Twinning projects and other European and international programs.

The Memorandum of Cooperation and Academic Exchange was signed by Prof. Lidia Rudnicka - Deputy-Rector for International Affairs, Development and Promotion at Medical University of Warsaw and Prof. Olesya Hulchiy - Vice-Rector for International Relations and International Students Research & Training at NMAPE.  

Members of the delegation included: Serhii Tsymbaliuk, PhD - Director of the Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education Teaching Hospita, Juija Filipova from the Office of the President of Ukraine as well as Tamila Shutak and Vitalii Bily from the Embassy of Ukraine in Poland.  

Representing Medical University of Warsaw were: Prof. Kazimierz Niemczyk - Head of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery and his staff members Prof. Ewa Osuch-Wójcikiewicz and Associate Prof. Antoni Bruzgielewicz, PhD hab., as well as Prof. Józef Zając - Member of the Polish Senate,Piotr Ziółkowski - Director of the Minister’s Office for Programs and Initiatives at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and Beata Fałda, PhD - Vice-Rector of the State School of Higher Education in Chełm.
