With decades of work in healthcare, Marzena Kowalczyk is experienced in managing medical establishments and implementing development projects. She was selected as the UCC director by way of competition.
During the nomination ceremony, the Rector of the WUM emphasized the significance of the University Clinical Center as a modern medical center that not only ensures top-level healthcare to patients, but also supports the development of its academic staff and medical students. It is also the largest clinical center in Poland.
Professor Rafał Krenke was accompanied by Professor Dorota Olczak-Kowalczyk, Vice Rector for Human Resources and Operations, Professor Marek Kuch, Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Education, and Professor Michał Grąt, Vice Rector for International Relations, Promotion and Development.
