Our university has once again been ranked among the best universities in the world according to THE World University Ranking – one of the most respected university rankings. This year's list by Subject 2026 classified MUW in the "Medical and Health" area. Our university scored 22.9-28.1 points and we reached the position 801-1000.
THE WUR by Subject field rankings use indicators assessed in the general ranking of THE World University Rankings, but these are calibrated to better fit the specifics of individual fields of science. The MUW performed best in the following categories: "research quality", "industry" and "internationalization".
The "Medical and Health" list included over 1,230 universities from 102 countries, including 14 from Poland.
