Invitation to the 2025/2026 Academic Year Inauguration

We cordially invite the academic community of our University to the Inauguration of the 2025/2026 academic year. The ceremony will take place on Monday, 6 October at 12:00 p.m. in the Professor Janusz Piekarczyk Auditorium at the Didactic Centre of the Medical University of Warsaw (WUM), 2a ks. Trojdena Street.

During the event, the inaugural lecture entitled “The Passion of Discovery and the Art of Reconstruction – Translational Medicine as a Challenge and an Inspiration” will be delivered by Professor Magdalena Kucia, MD, PhD, Head of the Laboratory of Regenerative Medicine at WUM, an expert in the field of stem cells and regenerative medicine.

The Rector’s Day has been announced for this occasion for all students and doctoral candidates of WUM.

A Holy Mass to mark the inauguration of the 2025/2026 Academic Year will be celebrated on the same day at 6:00 p.m. in the Church of Divine Providence, 5 Dickens Street.
