Graduation Lecture
An important moment during the celebration was the graduation lecture delivered by Barbara A. Karpinska Hopkins, MS, MBA, FACHE. She talked about her own journey as an athlete and manager to argue that the leader’s work in the healthcare sector is like sailing a stormy ocean: unpredictable, demanding, and full of sudden breakthrough points. Courage involves more than just ambition, it also includes humility in the face of uncertainly, and the ability to adjust your sails when the conditions are changing faster than we assumed.
Awards for Graduates and Lecturers
Graduates received their diplomas. Three Golden Birettas (for the highest grade point average) went to Jacek Sieńko, PhD Hab., Grzegorz Rychwalski J.D. EMBA, and Sylwia Jędrzejczyk-Kowalska. Certificates of recognition were awarded to the most valued lecturers: Rafał Mrówka, PhD Hab., Professor Monika Raulinajtys-Grzybek, Professor Piotr Wachowiak, and Tomasz Rostkowski, PhD Hab. Mariola Dwornikowska-Dąbrowska, PhD, MBA was recognized for organizing the study visit.
After the official ceremony, the nearly 200 members of the program community moved to Villa Foksal, where discussions about projects, plans, and cooperations continued well into the night.
