The eighth edition of the program was formally opened by Prof. Agnieszka Cudnoch-Jędrzejewska, Vice Rector for Clinical Affairs and Investments WUM. She wished the students every success and satisfaction in their professional development. She emphasized that, as a graduate of the program herself, she knows what the participants of the Executive SGH-WUM MBA will encounter.
-The MBA path is a demanding journey, but no transformation begins without effort - said Prof. Agnieszka Cudnoch-Jędrzejewska. However, she added that this demanding journey is also very inspiring, which is why it is worth being persistent and open to change.
The participants of the new edition were also welcomed by representatives of the program management: Monika Raulinajtys-Grzybek from the Warsaw School of Economics and Artur Białoszewski from the Medical University of Warsaw. Dr. Robert Mołdach, who teaches strategic management, was also present.
-We wish new students good luck, lots of inspiration, and effective networking in the SGH-WUM EMBA healthcare community - said Artur Białoszewski.
The community of this edition consists of people with diverse professional backgrounds, representing all segments of the healthcare system, both public and private. The exchange of experiences in such a diverse group is therefore an additional value of the Executive SGH-WUM MBA in healthcare program.
After the greeting, it was time to start learning. As usual, the first lecture was given by Prof. Rafał Mrówka, who introduced the students to the subject of strategy and behavior in organizations.
The importance of professional management in the healthcare sector is growing
The SGH-WUM MBA in healthcare program is based on a proprietary program developed by experienced practitioners and the leading academic staff from both universities. Although the program responds flexibly to changing conditions in the healthcare sector, it is consistently guided by the assumption that effective management in this sector is the basis for providing patients with high-quality care and for the rational use of resources. Leaders must combine managerial skills with medical knowledge. This is what the prestigious program offered by SGH and WUM provides. That is why there is already considerable interest in the next edition of the program.
More information about the next edition can be found on program's LinkedIn page and the program's website.
