Dreams fulfilled: medical analytics graduates with diplomas

- Five years ago we crossed the thresholds of our Alma Mater with the hope and dream of graduating and becoming diagnosticians. Today, receiving our diplomas, this dream has become a reality - said Natalia Stępień on behalf of medical analytics graduates during the graduation ceremony. Thirty-five students graduated in this field of study in the 2022/2023 academic year.

Congratulations from the dean and rector

A MUW diploma is not only the culmination of five years of hard work. It is also a guarantee of knowledge and skills at the highest level, and a “pass” that opens many doors. Dean of the Faculty, Piotr Luliński, MD, PhD, congratulating the graduates, emphasized their good preparation for the conscientious realization of the challenges awaiting them in their professional work.

Rector Prof. Zbigniew Gaciong, congratulating, gave the graduates a final piece of advice: - You have chosen a profession that offers many opportunities. Remember: when choosing them, be guided by your thoughts, passion, interests, not fashion. Because this is a choice for years - said Professor Gaciong.

Science is a combination of facts

- Science is built from facts, just as a house is built from bricks - said Prof. Olga Ciepiela, Vice Dean for Medical Analytics Education, quoting Henri Poincaré. However, merely gathering facts is not science, just as a mountain of bricks cannot be considered a house. That's why the vice dean urged graduate students to ask questions and seek answers, causes and links between them. - I can confidently say that you have enough such bricks in your heads to build a palace. However, to be a good diagnostician, you have to take the trouble to connect these bricks together - she stressed.

Finally, Vice Dean Ciepiela expressed the hope that graduates will always be proud to say that they graduated in medical analytics from the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Medical University of Warsaw.

Dreams fulfilled: coveted diplomas

Natalia Stępień, representing the graduates, thanked the lecturers for their time, knowledge and professionalism. To the dean's authorities for patiently listening to concerns and good advice. To the employees of the dean's office for helping to solve problems. And to the parents for their love and support.
She stressed that nothing valuable comes easily. But all, even the difficult experiences gained during their studies led to the fulfillment of their dream of receiving diplomas and becoming diagnosticians. Finally, quoting Confucius, she advised her colleagues that whatever career path they choose, they should find passion in it, and then it will be not a duty but a pleasure.

Words of appreciation from younger colleagues

For your hard work, determination, will to fight, and commitment to student life. And for having the strength, vision and self-confidence to be an example to others.
- We all gathered here for one simple reason - said Alexander Kuźmicz, chairman of the Pharmaceutical Faculty Student Government - We wanted to look you in the eye for once and say one simple word: thank you.

In turn, Szczepan Wąsik, president of the Student Association of Laboratory Diagnosticians, emphasized: - Today we can celebrate your achievements. I am convinced that this is only the beginning of your successes. Life after graduation will be full of challenges, but be assured that you have everything to meet them.
