It is also among the top 4.3% of universities worldwide and ranks 9. among all Polish higher education institutions in the Center for World University Rankings (CWUR).
WUM has the largest clinical training base in Poland, which includes the University Clinical Center, comprising three hospitals: the Central Clinical Hospital, the Pediatric Clinical Hospital, and the Infant Jesus Clinical Hospital, and also the University is affiliated with the Princess Anna Mazowiecka Maternity Hospital (Karowa), the University Center for Women's and Newborn Health, and the Independent Public Clinical Ophthalmology Hospital.
