Student of the 1st Faculty of Medicine won a scientific session at the international students' congress

Albert Stachura - a 5th years student of the 1st Faculty of Medicine, a member of the Experimental Medicine Students’ Scientific Club at the Department of Methodology, won the “Immunology” session - one of the 22 oral sessions that took place during the International Student Congress of (bio) Medical Sciences 2019 ( ISCOMS), June 3-7, at the University Medical Center in Groningen in the Netherlands.

His work, entitled "The influence of N-acetylcysteine (NAC) on surgical wound healing - the animal model", contained the results of the research that is carried out within the 1M15 / NM1 / 17 mini-grant and the project Best of the Best! 3.0. The research of Albert Stachura are supervised by Wiktor Paskal - the assistant at the Department of Methodology.

International Student Congress of (bio) Medical Sciences 2019 is one of the world's leading students congresses in the field of (bio) medical sciences. The goal of the event is to promote student research and international student exchange.
