Topic: “In one minute or less, tell me about yourself.” Such a simple question, yet it elicits feelings of fear, anxiety, and sometimes downright terror.  If you echo these same thoughts, then this is the lecture for you! Come on this interactive tour of Public Speaking, that will highlight the important elements, skills, and stress-reducing tactics needed to help you become more comfortable on stage or in an interview room.

Natalia Ochman has a degree in Bioengineering from University of Maryland.  She is the founder of an educational nonprofit called Foundational Learning and Mentorship Experience (FLAME). FLAME is centered on continuing science education for underprivileged students in the nearby community.  Though Natalia has a passion for teaching, her future lies within medicine. She will pursue trauma surgery and bridge the gap between engineering and medicine.
