This is the second edition of the competition. Ten female winners were selected and 40 honorable mentions were awarded. The most influential 50 include female managers, doctors, scientists, researchers, politicians, civil servants, social activists and representatives of organizations working on behalf of patients and health care.
- I am very pleased with this award. I work for the benefit of patients with rare diseases and I hope that these efforts will translate into an improvement of their situation in our health care system. I also congratulate all the other awardees - said Prof. Anna Kostera-Pruszczyk.
Asked to comment, Justyna Mieszalska noted that she was among the female doctors, politicians, managers and lawyers who have a real impact on shaping the health sector in Poland and whom she highly values.

Magdalena Skarżyńska, MD, PhD, thanked the competition's chapter for the award.

The announcement of the results of the Woman in the Health Market 2024 competition took place on March 7 at an evening gala during the Health Challenges Congress.
