On October 21, Professor Jolanta Małyszko’s election for a position in the Executive Committee of KDIGO was confirmed. Prof. Małyszko, from the Department of Nephrology, Dialysis and Internal Diseases at MUW, is the only polish representative in the 20-person management body of KDIGO.
As a member she will be engaged in setting this global nonprofit organization’s policies and direction regarding the development and implementation of evidence-based clinical practice guidelines in kidney disease treatment. Her three-year term began January 1st, 2019.
