LOCATION The Medical University of Warsaw is located in Warsaw, the capital of Poland. Warsaw is the biggest town with its over 2.000.000 inhabitants. This region of Poland is called Mazovia. In Warsaw you can find 15 higher education state institutions and over 30 non-state ones enrolling altogether over 150,000 students. The city and region are very rich in culture and arts that have many well-known theaters and museums. Here is also biggest in Poland Opera house established at the end of 18th century. From Warsaw you may reach other towns in Poland by rail, by bus or by plane. It has also good air connections with almost all countries in Europe, many direct flights to the USA and Asia. The city offers a big variety of restaurants, pubs, Italian and Greek restaurants as well as small restaurants with Chinese or Thai food. Warsaw is very green town with its over 53.000 ha covering 9 parks, 15 woods and other greens.
