Lifelong Learning Programme – ERASMUS General information The LLP-ERASMUS scheme aims to improve the quality of teaching and to give it the European dimension by encouraging universities throughout Europe to establish links with one another. The main aim of the LLP-ERASMUS programme is to create an Open European Area of Education and Training, where students and teachers can move without obstacles. The main principle of the programme is to facilitate education. Students are given the opportunity to undertake a fully-recognized period of study at the partner university following the Learning Agreement which is a formally accepted programme of study to be taken approved by the Programme Coordinator. Within the LLP-ERASMUS programme, the MUW has developed links with 47 European universities and has well-established student and lecturer exchanges. The programme also involves the introduction of the European Credit Transfer System. |
