MEDICAL STUDIES IN ENGLISH
Admission requirements and criteria
for 4-year MD degree program
Medical studies in English are available only for persons having other than Polish citizenship (due to Act of Polish citizenship dated 15th February 1962 and Act of Foreign dated 13th June 2003).
A 4-year program, also adopted to the EU standards, offers about 5000 hours of learning in the scope of general medicine, pre-clinical and clinical courses. It is offered to college graduates having BA or BSc degrees who have completed their pre-medical education and have 1200 hours of pre-med courses, e.g. general chemistry (including labs), organic chemistry (including labs), biology, physics, maths (calculus), biochemistry, genetics, anatomy etc.
The curriculum of the 4-year program is comprised of 2 preclinical and 2 clinical years.
Apart from documents requested by University´s agents the applicants are expected to submit the following documents:
- filled in application form
- College Diploma
- Official Transcript of record
- English language certificate (as described above)
- photocopy of the applicant’s passport
- health certificate
- six passport photographs 3,5 x 5,5 cm signed on the back (no head cover please)
- copy of money transfer of application fee amounting to 100,00 EUR (non-refundable)
- additionally American and Canadian citizens are requested to deliver a copy of Social Security Number
All delivered documents should be originals or certified copies (i.e. originally sealed and signed by the eligible institution/person. Initially applicant may send photocopies of all documents including application fee money transfer copy, however official documents are required for verification.
Applications should be submitted to the Registry Office from 4th of May till the 30th June 2009.
