MUW library will be closed soon

The Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Education, in a communication of March 26, provides an update on the Library operations in the coming weeks.

Due to the epidemic situation in the country related to the very high number of COVID-19 cases, I would like to inform you that the access to the Reading Room, the Lending Room with the staff and the Script Sales Point is suspended.
In order to allow students to borrow didactic  materials and pick up already ordered items, the Library will be closed on Wednesday, March 31 until April 10.
At the same time, I clarify that:
1. special fees for late return of library materials, for the aforementioned period, will not be charged;
2. book ordering, pick-up, and borrowing are suspended
3. items with pick-up dates from March 31, 2021 will be available for collecting within two weeks after the library resumes operations;
4. Documents for bibliometric analysis will be accepted and issued electronically.

I encourage you to use a wide range of e-resources: e-journals, e-books, medical databases.  E-resources are available at https://biblioteka.wum.edu.pl, under the sections: Quick Access/e-resources and Resources/databases, Resources/e-books, Resources/e-journals.
 I particularly encourage you to use the academic textbooks on the IBUK Libra platform https://biblioteka.wum.edu.pl/zasoby/e-ksiazki and on the Skrypty platform https://biblioteka.wum.edu.pl/node/347
